File Transfer Protocol (FTP) represents an easy way to interact with files on a remote computer. While using web-based upload/download is nice for single files, when you have to “dump” (upload or put, download or get) a LOT of files, it can be time-consuming and painstaking to do it in groups of 4-5 files.
Imagine my surprise when I stumbled across Firefox Universal Uploader. I turned to it the first time to easily upload presentations to Slideshare, and then realized it also works with a lot of other web-based services—including GoogleDocs.
