One of my favorite section in Reader’s Digest growing up—in fact, the only section I read religiously as a youngster—was the one entitled, Laughter is the Best Medicine. There were other humor section in Reader’s Digest, too, and once upon a time, I submitted a few pieces of writing to them for publication (unsuccessfully).

Reading this list of Signs of Being in e-Learning Hell, I about fell out of my chair laughing, especially at this one included in the comments:

It was a while back, but one line system I worked with had a feature to collect comments from students. One stood out:
“This room is too cold.”

It may be we need more humor.
