Embedding Edublogs.tv content in Blogger

Thanks to Jane Nicholls (ICT U Can!), I learned something new about how to embed
audio from Edublogs.tv, the new place for educators to host audio and
video (50 meg uploads, unlimited storage, no advertising)! Jane shares
the problem in this blog post:

She shares some of the solutions but she encounters a snag. The audio
embed code from Edublogs.tv automatically plays the audio when you visit
her page. How to stop that? So, for fun, I took a look at the code:

Note that in the middle of the code, there’s “autostart=yes”. A simple
solution might be to just change the autostart to equal NO, and sure
enough, that did it as Jane reports:

Update 2: Thanks Miguel for this tip. When you have embedded the code
from Edublogs.tv click on the ‘edit html’ button at the top of your
posting page and then look at the code for the audio. You will see
something that says “autostart=yes” change the “yes” to “no” and this
turns the autostart function off. Thanks again Miguel.

Nifty! Thanks for asking the quetion and sharing the challenge so we
could work through it together!
