To the right, you’ll see my stats for the “old” Around the Corner site at http://www.edsupport.cc/mguhlin are still…high.
The migration from the Edsupport.cc hosted Around the Corner blog to the Blogspot.com certainly cost me some readers–those in education who can no longer access my blog because I’m now hosted by Blogger/Blogspot. I received this email:
Our county automatically blocks any web site that starts with a person’s name–if yours had something in front of your name, it would NOT be blocked initially. (Yours isn’t now cause I got it unblocked, and recategorized, but just an FYI.)
While it’s terrible to lose readers, if you subscribed via RSS feed, my feed address has not changed and you should still be able to read Around the Corner that way. In the meantime, the stats for the new Around the Corner hosted at Blogspot.com are improving, and subscriptions have improved dramatically (up to 1800 from 1403 in two days…wow! Goes to show Thingamablog just wasn’t getting the circulation it could have been!).
