Citizen-journalism in action? I don’t know if this qualifies but it’s fun to speculate.

A random tweet earlier today clued me into new TCEA related news…while Board member results are usually top secret (i’m exaggerating) I noticed this tweet from Kyle Stevens (the tweet with the Kool-Aid avatar).

“Woscholar” is Scott Floyd (A Piece of My Mind), who was running for TCEA Area 7, and Brian Grenier (Bump on the Blog) from El Paso ISD for TCEA Area 19.

Here’s hoping that Scott Floyd will rise above just giving fellow TCEA Board Members MORE than just a piece of his mind, and that Brian Grenier will be more than a bump on a log! (laugh)

Seriously, if Kyle Stevens is right, congratulations to both of these folks for their election to the TCEA Board! I suppose the official announcement won’t be made until the February 2009 TCEA Conference with swearing in of officers at the Spring, 2009 Board meeting (usually in May, as I recall!).
