SD Card Powered Samsung

I picked up a 2gig card this evening at Best Buy, the place that never answers the phone and has geeky tech support fawning over teen girls ogling FLIP video cameras, as I dropped into pick up a FLIP camera for a Xmas present.

Ok, before I get carried away with bashing Best Buy, let me switch gears.

I have a 6 megapixel Samsung A6 digital camera. The 68 meg card (which I bought for my Palm handheld many years ago) I’d had in it was working great and whoever takes that many pictures? Well, forget that. I plugged in a 2gig card and I’m now able to take over 1100 photos at the highest resolution possible.

1100 photos.

Wow. I’m easily impressed I know, but the question coming to mind now is, “Miguel, why are you so cheap you didn’t spend $14 before and get the SD Kingston card before this?” Well, only one answer for that. It’s my wife’s fault.
;->

Seriously, 1100 photos. Sheesh, now I just need to cart around batteries. If only they were as inexpensive!
