ISTE NETS-2007 – Assessment Update

Announcement…

InfoSource Learning has developed a NEW SimpleAssessment based on ISTE’s NETS-S 2007…you may recall that this is one of the assessment tools available to school districts to do 8th grade student technology literacy assessments.

And it’s already loaded into your site – FREE OF CHARGE!

The SimpleAssessment for NETS-S 2007 comes in three versions, all of which you will find in your site:

  • SimpleAssessment (NETS-S 2007) For Windows/Office 2003
  • SimpleAssessment (NETS-S 2007) For Windows/Office 2007
  • SimpleAssessment (NETS-S 2007) For Mac/Office 2008

These assessments are in addition to the ones you currently have, which are based on the NETS-S 1998. The 1998 version of the assessment will continue to be offered. Please take some time to complete the new assessment for yourself before deciding which assessment is most appropriate for your students.

  3. Mark, I have not seen the new assessment. For Texas students who used the old assessment as a “pre-test” I may have to stick with the old one through May.In the meantime, I’ll see what i can find out and report here.Best wishes,Miguel
