You’ve heard the story of my 15-year old’s book, Alone in the Middle, from her perspective but take a look at the talented Nathan (14 years old) and Nicole’s submission. It is well-worth watching this video to see the tutorial Nathan prepared, and Nicole’s artwork. It’s incredible.

They use free tools to make their digital media. Watch this story! I have no doubt that this is a winning entry to Edutopia’s Digital Youth project!!

Remember that these digital creators are HOME-SCHOOLED, lacking access to all the ed-tech goodness public school educators have…as well as the freedom.
