Provide Feedback on the ISTE NETS for Administrators 2009

Please consider giving your feedback!

ISTE released the draft NETS for Administrators 2009 in early January and is seeking comment from you to strengthen and improve them before publishing them in June. We are welcoming feedback until the end of March. Please consider participating in the online survey:

www.iste.org/nets-survey; or

leading a NETS Refresh Forum for colleagues at meetings or conferences. Use the NETS Refresh toolkit, which comes with instructions and forum materials:

www.iste.org/nets-toolkit

ISTE wants to hear from you!

I’m going to take some time to review and offer my feedback in the weeks to come. I encourage you to share your feedback here!

  1. These seem like motherhood and apple pie. They are so broad, that anyone would agree to them. Is there a way to quantify them better making them more measurable? Is there a way to balance 1) keeping abreast with technology (as an individual), 2) informing all stakeholders of available technology alternatives (and pluses and minuses), 3) helping make decisions that further learning and also are cost effective, and 4) planning and implementing technology?
