Apps I agree with that were included:
- Truecrypt
- Operator –
Opera+TOR - Filezilla
FTP - CCleaner
- Revo Uninstaller
- CD Burner XP
- IrfanView
- VLC Media Player (awesome!)
Some apps I had no clue about but thanks to this article I do now:
- NirSoft.net apps…lots of password
recovery tools, network monitoring tools, internet related
utilities…all of which would probably get you in trouble with your
school district’s acceptable use policy but are handy to have when
someone needs help. - FastStone Capture –
This is now my FAVORITE app on Windows for screen captures. It works
just like Skitch (close enough)!! - PStart
And, apps I’d add or substitute:
- MuCommander for
TotalCommander - MaceCraft’s RegSupreme
Pro (trial is not crippled and enough to get the job done!)
