Along with the April, 2009 Texas Distance Learning Association Conference in Corpus Christi (Tx), the iNACOL conference taking place in Austin, Tx in November, 2009 is also worth attending!!


Here’s the announcement:

The International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) Program Committee is seeking presentations for sessions at the Virtual School Symposium (VSS) and the Request for Presentation Proposals (RFP) is now available on the website.

The Virtual School Symposium, held November 15 – 17, 2009 in Austin, TX, is the industry’s leading event for K-12 online learning and brings together 1,200 education leaders. The VSS conference provides important networking opportunities, access to expertise and analysis, trends, research and thought-provoking sessions for leaders looking to help shape the future of education. The theme of VSS is: “Creating New Solutions through Online Learning.”

The deadline for submitting presentation proposals is April 13, 2009. The new RFP process is entirely web-based. The VSS Program Committee will notify applicants on proposal status/acceptance by June 30, 2009.
