While downloading PDFs seems so yesterday, there’s still a need for quality printable manuals that people can hold in their hands while they struggle to figure something out. I seldom print anything but won’t hesitate to click print when I’m working on something that i’d like to take with me to lunch (no, I don’t spend lunch in front of a computer…at least, not much).

February 2009 saw the beginning of a new feature at MakeUseOf – our downloadable PDF manuals. These two manuals were instantly available to everyone when the posts first came out. But now they are only available to our RSS / email subscribers.
