Sample Moodle Course

Any and all feedback is welcome on my first Moodle course. As with any project, it’s been a team effort. I’m grateful to Diana Benner and Tonya Mills on my team for providing the structure (very important for me!), as well as a nice theme to use (which I suppose you won’t see right away since it’s still undergoing a few modifications).

In the meantime, please check out this course and give me some feedback on the blog entry. When the course is ready, I intend to share it for download under Creative Commons ShareAlike-NonCommercial-Attribution.

I’m also looking for a better title, so…this Moodle takes advantage of our Apple Blog server.

Unleash the Read/Write Web: Blogging in [SchoolDistrictName]
(you can go in as GUEST)

Update: 04/23/2009
Leigh Blackall was kind enough to give me some feedback! Thanks!

  1. Hey Miguel,I like the course. I’ve only poked around for a couple of minutes but it seems well outlined and thought out. I’d be interested though in what incentives your district is offering teachers to take it? How does it fit into your overall pd development? We’ve had a lot of call for online pd from our teachers, but the incentives and payoff seem to be elusive. Thank!Reggie RyanDir of TechMount Prospect SD 57Mount Prospect, IL USAreggieryan@gmail.com
