Audion 3 Revisited

Although iTunes can do the job, I hate to run iTunes. Something about it makes me nervous. So, I went looking for a CD ripper to pull audio off a CD I’d made some time ago. I stumbled on Audion, a program I’d used once upon a time. Surprisingly, enough time had gone by, and the program is now FREE (no cost). Audion has been retired. It is now free of charge — click here to get your free serial number — but is no longer being actively developed, and is provided as-is without support. We hope you continue to enjoy Audion! That’s right — cash is no longer necessary to use what’s still an incredibly full-featured MP3 player/encoder. Yes, we’ll continue to make it available for download! And we’ll provide help to customers who have purchased for as long as we reasonably can.

Essentially, iTunes put Audion out of business…but guess what? I like Audion better. I ripped the CD and all worked well.
