TrueCrypt for Data Protection

A colleague shared a response to my previous blog entry, Maybe I should be encrypting my data.

A quick way to get started with protecting your data is to use TrueCrypt.org ! Since I use TrueCrypt on Mac, Win and Linux machines, I’ve found it a great way to transport encrypted data and have it accessible across multiple platforms. Yet, how to introduce someone to TrueCrypt?

Update 01/3/2012: I now recommend the free, open source AESCrypt in lieu of AxCrypt/NCrypt as a simple, easy to use cross-platform encryption tool. Find out more here.
