  • Welcome to the 2012 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Technological Literacy Framework and Test Item Specifications

  • The 2012 NAEP Technological Literacy Framework draft is now available for public review. Please go to the bottom of the Outreach section of the website to download a copy of the 11/04/09 discussion draft, or download it directly here. The Framework is still in the development phase. Comments and suggestions are being accepted through January 31, 2010 using the online feedback survey.

  • Four Collaborating Organizations:

  • The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) will ensure that the broad technology education field is well represented and that the products reflect the best available knowledge from the field.

    ·      The International Technology Education Association (ITEA) will ensure the involvement of teachers and engineers concerned with education about technologies of the human-designed world.

    ·      The Partnership for 21^st Century Skills (P21) will connect the project to its business and state members for input and feedback.

    ·      The State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) will work with state educational technology directors and policymakers in educational organizations to provide information on how educational technology supports teaching and learning.
