A recent email from Dr. Richard Smith highlighted a podcast he did with Brenda Quintanilla, TxDLA president, where they discuss online course design. This is an area I always need to learn more about and enjoy listening to discussions about!

The Texas Distance Learning Association (3-23-2010) Brenda Quintanilla, the president of the Texas Distance Learning (TxDLA) association speaks with Richard A. Smith regarding TxDLA’s mission and goals, and the role of the organization’s annual conference. The two go on to discuss discus the design of distance education courses and the elements that comprise a well constructed online course. This podcast was recorded on-site during the TxDLA annual conference held in Houston during March 22 – 24th, 2010.
