Belly Up to the Bully Pulpit

“Belly up to the bully pulpit and tell your story!”

A few days ago, Tim Holt (Intended Consequences) made the point that we lack a “bully pulpit;” here’s one way of changing that!

Are you worried about what’s happening to Texas education under the harsh cuts proposed by state legislators? If you are a parent with a child in Texas schools, a teacher, administrator, educator, then this is your opportunity to speak up and reach a wider audience!

Your contributions will be published periodically starting in February.

Please email me your guest blog post and I will post it. A few boundaries that you shouldn’t cross:

  • Avoid profanity, cursing of any sort.
  • No inappropriate images
  • Adhere to copyright rules (in other words, no plagiarizing)
Please do share real life stories of what the Texas budget cut will mean in YOUR district or teaching/learning/leading situation. Feel free to send a picture along.

If you want to submit comments as an audio or video file, then please leave a comment with your email address and I will make contact.
