At long last, we are in sight of the contest for the Lenovo m90z Thinkcentre, a 23-inch touchscreen Windows 7 computer (although it runs Peppermint ICE just fine, as I discovered), that is just plumb awesome! It’s a $799 value, and just incredible piece of equipment that is suitable for a variety of uses.
My latest story on the m90z comes to me from my daughter, who was preparing a pecha kucha for school. She used the Microsoft Surface Collage that comes with the m90z to create some beautiful displays for her Pecha Kucha.

I would love to add a thinkcentre to my first grade classroom. I am currently implementing a STEM/PBL grant with an action research focus that embedded technology used in a transformative manner increases student engagement and depth of learning. This tool would increase the ability to displaying learning, creation, and collaboration of knowledge and data collection. My goal is to create a teaching and learning model that integrates technology to "transform" the learning environment and address 21st century literacies that can be duplicated in other schools.
