OVERVIEW:  225 day assignment
The Executive Director of Technology is responsible for the development, implementation, operation, monitoring and evaluation of the technology program, data integrity and infrastructure for the school district.  This is managed by providing leadership and working collaboratively with the Directors of Data Services, Technical Services, Network Operations and their staffs to ensure that technology is an integral part of the total instructional program and district operations.
The Executive Director is a member of the Superintendent’s Executive Cabinet.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree; Masters preferred

  • Valid Texas teaching certificate

  • Minimum of two years teaching experience

  • Three years experience in supervision and management of computer hardware and instructional software applications

  • Knowledge of computer network, hardware, and software applications

  • Knowlege of computer applications development and implementation

  • Ability to manage budget and personnel

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to implement policy and procedures

  • Ability to interpret data
