Wacom’s festival, Connected Ink 2021, kicks off on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 and lasts for 27 straight hours. This festival encompasses presentations on a variety of topics surrounding creativity, education, and technology, and its goal is to inspire creative chaos – thought-provoking exploration and new directions for art, human expression, education, and the technology supporting it all.
This year will feature prominent creatives and leaders discussing a wide range of topics. Some of the sessions in particular that might peak your interest include:
- Sketch, Draw and Doodle in the Classroom (3 Great Tools for Teachers) with John Sowash: Exploring three tools teachers can utilize to annotate images, teach in front of a virtual whiteboard and provide written feedback to students.
- Anatomy of a Viral Photography Campaign with Benjamin von Wong: Breaking down one of his iconic campaigns and explain the work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure the creation of maximum visibility and impact.
- How to Design a Comic Book Character for a Film with Anthony Francisco: Discussing the importance of concept art in the creative pipeline and demonstrate his process for fine-tuning concepts from scratch.
You can access the entire lineup of nearly 70 inspiring and informative online presentations, discussions, and creative performances at this link. All sessions are free, but registration in advance (by November 14th) on the Connected Ink site is required to attend or access the recorded session.
