Critical Thinking: Five Steps

In a blog entry I wrote awhile ago but that was published only recently, I loved sharing this diagram:

As you can see, it looks a bit different than my adaptation.

In my blog entry, I share these questions:
  • What evidence is there for an idea or assertion encountered?
  • Is that evidence trustworthy, relevant, and valuable?
  • How can I apply that evidence to the current situation and create an intervention?
  • How effective is that evidence-based intervention or strategy?
Powerful stuff. We need more of this in our lives. I’m afraid it is all that stands between humanity and  chaos & madness. Not too dramatic, eh?
