Run Afoul of Google's Community Guidelines

It may be time to toss Blogger onto the scrap heap of history. Today, three of my ancient blog entries (2008) received email critique. They stand accused of being out of whack with the Google Community Guidelines.

The blog entries were all focused on podcasting, video hosting, offering links to tools (some long gone) useful to K-16 educators engaged in podcasting, working with RSS feeds.
My guess? Google set its automated hounds loose and they have stumbled upon old content.

I re-read all the blog entries and could find nothing that would match these criteria:
  • Your post titled “Publicizing Podcasts: 13 Free Services You Can Use” was flagged to us for review. This post was put behind a warning for readers because it contains sensitive content. Your content has been evaluated according to our Adult Content policy.
  •  Your post titled “4 DIY Video Hosting Solutions for Common Core Students” was flagged to us for review. We have determined that it violates our guidelines and have unpublished the URL http://www.mguhlin.org/2012/10/4-diy-video-hosting-solutions-for.html, making it unavailable to blog readers.
  • Your post titled “Podcasting Panopoly” was flagged to us for review. This post was put behind a warning for readers because it contains sensitive content; the post is visible at http://www.mguhlin.org/2008/10/podcasting-panopoly.html. Your blog readers must acknowledge the warning before being able to read the post/blog.

If you would like to read these blog entries in their sensitive glory (I still can’t figure out what offends Google’s eye), and I’m an educator trained to seek this out to safeguard children, you can do a title search at my https://mguhlin.substack.com backup of this blog.
