One of the questions I have, even after attending TCEA 2024 Convention and missing the opportunity to visit the booths of each vendor, is, “How do these solutions compare to each other and why, as a school administrator, would I invest in more than one?”
Of course, these AI solution providers would want you to invest in their product alone, or all of the ones available. Only Brisk said to me, “We’re one stop shopping for a school AI solution.” So I decided to ask Perplexity.ai, which I’m subscribed to on my own dime, for some help.
Prompt to Perplexity:
Compare these AI products for schools: Brisk, Diffit, MagicSchool, Poe, SchoolAI, TeacherMade and put the results in table format.
To which Perplexity.ai responded…
I waited patiently for Perplexity’s CoPilot to dig into the info, over 25 sources of data (wow!), and then got this output. The comparison chart is a nice starting point, don’t you think?
