The Fundamentals of Teaching in a Tech-Enhanced Classroom

Integrate technology while maintaining focus on the fundamental aspects of effective teaching: prior knowledge activation, clear presentation, feedback, and repetition for mastery. Check out these information sheets for high-effect size instructional strategies.

My favorite slide is this one on Prior Knowledge. I was recreating it from Mike Bell’s The Fundamentals of Teaching book but wanted to add some color and make the connections more defined. You definitely need to get his book, along with Geoff Petty’s Evidence-Based Teaching.
