An avid reader of Marc Alan Edelheit, among other authors, I’m stumped where I can find his books other than through Amazon Kindle and Kindle Unlimited. You may recall, I cancelled my subscriptions with Amazon due to the reduction of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies.

I sent him an email, but I may have been unclear with my email, since his response implied that he didn’t own copyright on audiobooks (where I purchased most of his content). I had hoped he would say the books were available in print or ePub format through another publisher aside from Amazon. I didn’t get that impression at all and he didn’t respond to my follow-up email.

Finding A Favorite Author on Smashwords

I had hoped to find Marc Alan Edelheit on Smashwords, but no luck. Worse, his blog link is obsolete, but not his book site.

I had hoped Edelheit’s presence would be as robust as Jonathan Moeller, another of my favorite authors (see his Smashwords page):

And, it appears you can only buy his books via Amazon:

Sigh. I suppose I will never know how the rest of Marc Alan Edelheit’s characters and stories develop. I suppose I’ll have to take this Epictetus quote to heart:

“Make the best use of what is in your power, and take the rest as it happens.”

And let go of Edelheit’s writings.
