As part of my work, I’m always creating slide decks. I still remember with nostalgia my college days when I could create an outline of a presentation with paper-n-pencil. Over time, I lost that skill and found myself using a more visual approach. Now, I’m back to writing down outlines, dropping them into my Inspiration Machine for help, and then taking that and creating the presentation slides in Canva.
But a part of me wants to take that outline and drop it into Gamma, an AI-powered presentation tool. Sometimes, I can and don’t need to worry about the content changing radically. Other times, I find myself frustrated at how the AI has transformed the presentation in some way I didn’t imagine. Over time, I’ve gotten quite a bit better working with Gamma, and you can see some of my presentations online via links below.
Gamma Goes Social
One of the additional challenges of working with the BEST AI-powered slide deck generator, Gamma, has been trying to adjust links to show on social media. Instead of spotlighting the content, Gamma’s info was displayed. Gamma has a very active community and developers are working hard to improve the content. That’s a good thing given how much you have to pay to use Gamma at the level I use it every month.
Gamma now offers social media formats — in addition to presentations, webpages and documents.
Now you can use Gamma to create dynamic social posts automatically optimized for your platform of choice! Easily customize your Instagram story, LinkedIn posts, or TikTok carousels: all sizes are supported.
Social content is now available in beta to all users. To get started, use the new from blank flow on the Gamma dashboard, or the page setup button in the … menu at the top right of your gamma.
You can also generate social posts using AI. Just navigate to the Generate page and click the Social button.
I can’t wait to try out Gamma and converting some of the existing content to a more social media friendly format with a click.
