Daily Takeaways from #AI Emails

As I said before, it’s easy with Google Gemini Advanced to select a few emails in your inbox and then get it to do a summary. Below, you will find a bullet list of news items and AI tools from multiple emails in my AI News label. This content is just information, while the newsletters themselves provide much more readable stuff. Still, this is nice for a quick list of what was mentioned. What would be better is if Gemini in my Gmail could tell me which email it came from and provide a link.

Prompt

And, here’s the prompt I used. Give it a try yourself:

Write a bullet list summary of the content in the emails selected in the !followup-ai-news label including embedded links

Now, it didn’t actually include the embedded links. I ended up running this through Gemini (not in my email)

Update the following bullet list to include current links and embed them with keywords. Format this in markdown, bolding the keywords that are linked.

Source for the Content

The source for the content, if not the links, is adapted from these emails:

  • Matt from Future Too
  • Ben’s Bites
  • SuperHuman – Zain K.
  • Evolving AI Insights
  • The Neuron
  • The RunDown AI

  1. Nicely done.

It strikes me that it might not be a whole lot more to put the results of this into a database that will grow over time, which then could be accessed by an AI to write a ‘history’ of some tool, some company, or some trend.
