Spotify Sucks – Listening Disappointment

Imagine getting to the second book in a series, ready to start listening, and you get this message above from Spotify. Then, you find out how much it costs to “top off.” Top off? I’m already PAYING money for Spotify access. You don’t limit, as far as I know, how many podcasts, etc. I listen to. But you ARE limiting the audiobooks I listen to?

The book I’m listening to is Olan Thorensen‘s The Pen and the Sword: Destiny’s Crucible. I’ve already read the series the old-fashioned way, but thought, hey, let me listen to it via Spotify. After all, I’m a Premium customer. It says right there that it’s “Included in Premium.”

If I don’t have access, then figure out a way for me to get uninterrupted access. You don’t just cut someone off from listening in the middle of a story.

They might get the idea that another solution is better. In the meantime, no worries, I have a lot of other content to listen to.
