Last month, I finally put money down (ouch) for an app to read ebooks on my iPhone. I hated to do it, having relied on free apps. But MapleRead SE ($7.99) promised to also read the books aloud, using enhanced or premium voices available via iPhone. This was a welcome change from having to read ebooks the old-fashioned way and I figured if I didn’t know about it, you might not either.
