#iOS Shortcuts for #BoodleBox #AI

It’s a fast way to get into an app. Sure, you could hit the icon on your smartphone, but sometimes, your hands are full, and you need quicker access. It would be great if BoodleBox had an audio friendly app, but, hey, it’s not available YET.

iOS Shortcuts skips all those slow steps. Here’s why it’s better:

  • Fast: Jump right into a website (or app) instantly.
  • Easy: Put shortcuts on your Home Screen or Lock Screen.
  • Hands-Free: Use Siri to start your shortcut without touching your phone.

Let’s see how to set this up in the iOS Shortcuts app.

BoodleBox

Now, BoodleBox does NOT yet have an iOS app, or voice control. This means you are opening a website via the shortcut, then dictating your request to your device clipboard, then pasting it into the BoodleBox chat screen. Not as smooth as voice chats but let’s hope it’s coming.

  1. Open the Shortcuts app
  2. Tap the + icon
  3. Search for and add “Dictate Text” as your first action
  4. Add “Copy to Clipboard” action
  5. Below that, add “URL” action
  6. In the URL field, type: https://box.boodle.ai/launch/chat
  7. Add “Open URLs” action below the URL action
  8. Tap the arrow next to the shortcut name at the top to Rename it (e.g., “Boodle Voice”)
  9. Tap Done
