Session Description

Video analysis (micro-teaching) has a 0.99 effect size, yet many coaches avoid it due to teacher resistance. This session harnesses the power of video analysis in instructional coaching through non-threatening review sessions focused on specific instructional goals. We’ll practice structured reflection protocols, learn to provide constructive feedback based on video evidence, and develop systems for continuous improvement through iterative coaching cycles. Participants will experience video analysis as teachers, then practice facilitating sessions.
