A New Dawn of Leadership At Hand

To steal a few words from President-Elect Barack Obama’s speech tonight (the title above), I love the platform this Texan is running on for the TCEA Board of Directors:

Open, Transparent, and Accessible Communication. Communication between the TCEA Board of Directors and its membership has to be made more accessible, open, and transparent. Feedback from TCEA membership has to be gathered before, and after, major Board decisions are made.

Too many technologies (blogs, wikis, podcasts, videocasts) are freely available at our disposal for this not to be currently happening.

A prime example is the lack of an RSS feed on the TCEA website, a simple solution to distributing information to TCEA membership in a way that is more accessible.

Yes we can! Vote Brian Grenier in TCEA Area 19!

  1. I hope Brian wins it. If I were to win Area 7, and he wins 19, TCEA would have like-minded directors ready to work together to move the organization forward. He is a good guy to work with (and cook with, for that matter). I wish him well.

  3. Miguel,Thanks for your support. I’m looking forward (fingers crossed) to working on the TCEA Board with people like Scott Floyd who is running for the Area 7 Directorship.Brianhttp://bumpontheblog.net
