This was an interesting read at Gizmodo:
[Bernie] Sanders sees the rapid advancement of AI not just as a technological revolution, but as the next major battleground in the fight against corporate greed and inequality.
I love his singular focus on ideas like:
- “…the main point is workers have got to benefit from increased productivity, not just CEOs. Right now, that is not the case, so that is what we have got to change.”
- “…use the benefits of artificial intelligence and robotics to improve human life.”
It seems obvious, doesn’t it? But it isn’t if the focus is profit.
